Davis Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Davis collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information, and the rights you have under the GDPR.
Who we are
Davis AI SAS, registered under SIREN 994 931 996 with its registered office at 14 avenue du Général de Gaulle, 94160 Saint-Mandé, is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. For any privacy question, write to contact@meetdavis.com.
What we collect and why
Davis collects a limited amount of personal data through the "Book a demo" form on this website: your name, your professional email address, and your company name. We use this data solely to respond to your request, arrange a demo, and follow up on any commercial relationship that may result, on the basis of our legitimate interest in handling inbound requests and developing our business. Where we rely on your consent, for example for marketing emails, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
How we share it
We share personal data only in the following cases:
Service providers that help us operate the site and manage demo requests, such as our hosting and email providers. They act on our documented instructions and under written data-protection agreements.
Legal or regulatory authorities, where we are legally required, or where disclosure is necessary to protect rights, property, or safety.
A counterparty to a corporate transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, under appropriate confidentiality protections.
We never sell your personal data, and we can provide the current list of our sub-processors on request at contact@meetdavis.com.
How long we keep it
We keep demo-request and prospect data for up to three years from our last meaningful contact with you, in line with the guidance of the French data protection authority on commercial prospection, after which we delete or anonymise it. Where data is contained in accounting or contractual records, we keep it for the longer period required by law. Fully anonymised data that can no longer be linked to you may be kept without time limit for statistical purposes.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you may ask to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use including for direct marketing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw your consent where processing relies on it. You also have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you. Davis's technology processes site and building data to produce architectural feasibility analysis, and does not make automated decisions about individuals, so this situation does not arise in practice. To exercise any of these rights, write to contact@meetdavis.com; we respond within one month, and may ask you to verify your identity first. If you are not satisfied, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
